Blue Line Club hosting Winter Carnival luncheon



HOUGHTON, Mich. – The Michigan Tech Blue Line Club is hosting a Winter Carnival luncheon on Friday, Feb. 10 at 11:45 a.m. in the ‘old’ Blue Line Room outside of University Images. The event is open to the public and costs $15 per person.

Tickets need to be purchased by 5 p.m. on Wednesday (Feb. 8) to guarantee lunch and can be purchased onlineby calling the Central Ticket Office at 906-487-2073, or by visiting in person. Pasty, coleslaw, carrot cake, soda, water, and coffee will be served.

Michigan Tech coach Joe Shawhan and Bowling Green coach Ty Eigner will be on hand to talk about the CCHA series. The Huskies and the Falcons meet at 7:07 p.m. Friday and at 5:07 p.m. Saturday as the teams will battle for the MacInnes Trophy as Winter Carnival champions.

Saturday will be Senior Day as Tristan Ashbrook, Jake Crespi, Logan Ganie, David Jankowski, Chris Lipe, Ryan O’Connell, Blake Pietila, Logan Pietila, Parker Saretskyand Brett Thorne will be honored after the game.
